Inferior quality refined oil and maida are being used to prepare puri across IR stations... It is experienced that stall owners in stations aim is to sell substandard foods in low prices to generate higher sales. Their aim is not to use quality edible oil, quality masalas, spices and quality grains to prepare oilless cuisines then charging medium/high prices from eaters. The nonsense is entire day the oil inside kadai is kept on heating to prepare puris which becomes hazardous/poison. This should be avoided in the interest of health in my opinion.. better to consume fruits, boiled eggs, idli in those dry routes.. If somebody doesn't eat inferior with oily main course foods (coloured dishes using colours with or without ajinomoto) the entire day his/her health would be fit & fine by consuming fruits, bananas,

Was posted near Silchar and Travelled on this route many a times. It used to be a meter gauge line from Silchar up to Lumding there we used to change train for Guwahati. Gr8 times. I still remember one night at around 0100am got a distress call from some railway manager asking for help as the loco pilot of the passenger train had been kidnapped by insurgents . Satya Bhai, nice time to travel in North East terrain in Monsoon ; Early morning views of dense green mountains, small villages with their ponds, Bamboo, Banana & Coconut trees. Super beautiful views of lush green mountains, heavy rain & it's fog, high flow rivers, tunnels, clouds, zig zag railway route, Amazing valleys, calmness of flourishing nature...I think this is a live heaven on Earth & everyone must once experience this in their lifetime. New Halflong Railway Station is Unique as It has mountains both side ; Fruits seems fresh & tasty as grown organically on Mountains. It feels that train would slowly get losr in these green mountains with cloud cover on their top ; I personally like red lemon tea very much which is so common in North East. Very good to see so tasty Puri Chole & rajama sabji served at Badarpur Junction Station & Bhai if You are eating oily stuff...it is very much digestable. Very new route explored to Silchar & Manipur line travel expected in future. Very much enjoyed this North East monsoon vlog, Satya Bhai...Great Job !! ❤ JAI HIND

Here Train cancellation & delay is normal during rainy season ... u r lucky u reached within 15 hours😃 Due to land slide station was empty ,No food vendors were there cause of less pessenger as most of the people avoid train journey during monsoon ... & U should have choosen Vista dome (tourist train, Ghy-Bdp) for better view & videography of your journey
