If you have any particular company and profile in mind, then you can apply through their company portal. But mostly, they prefer candidates with Japanese Language certificate(JLPT), so it's beneficial to learn the language first🙂

Here in Japan, people work very hard to the extent that some people even die. They have even named this term "Karoushi" because the numbers are that significant. If you are talking about the developed countries many of them believe in prioritizing personal life as well so they work 7-8 hours a day but they are highly productive during that time, which is smart work. She simply compared the work culture but didn't mean that the people in Japan are not smart.
