As someone who lived overseas as a little girl and later as an adult I had to learn some German and later French as well as my native English. Later I also lived in Saudi and Hong Kong. I have had some wonderful and funny conversations, strangling pronunciation, grasping for different words in any language we might share, acting out and pointing and even drawing in order to try and learn and communicate. English spelling and pronunciation is troublesome and tricky even if our grammar is pretty simple! German is great for spelling and pronunciation rules...consistent even if it produces incredibly long words. I am always amused at comedy involving the oddities of language and this sketch teasing about the absurdity of English spelling and pronunciation does tickle me.

Your reactions are always so much fun to listen to. I even think you were able to translate quicker than the shopkeeper himself. Thank you 👏👍👍👍

They're cutting out the bottom of the picture to prevent the video from being demonetised over copyright claims - there's no ideal way to avoid copyright but this is a very decent one! 😄

@@easterdeer But loads of others watch the same ones and they dont cut it out? Its annoying when something happens in the bottom of the picture.
