I've met maybe 1 rude Indian dude in College, was a total ass, but his brother and sister were awesomely kind people and we hung out all the time, just made a point to not be near the a-hole brother. I see it like most everywhere else, most people are probably kind, but we've all got that one asshole in the family that ruins it for the rest lol

I'm a Latina immigrant ESL married to an Irish American and I have been shocked by the diversity and the actual good will people of different Faiths have towards each other IRL. American's are infectiously happy and positive. I am very extroverted and I get to know my neighbors. We live in a diverse neighborhood. The second year we lived in our neighborhood my Jewish friend and neighbor approached me about our Christmas lights. We chatted and since I know everybody I set everything up. Saturday morning I approached my husband, "Lauren needs help with her Christmas lights." "She's Jewish, Pilar" my husband replied. "She wants Christmas lights and I offered your help, she'll 'pay' us with her knish recipe." "Babe, what? Does she even have lights? I mean this is ... she has a menorah, right?" "I bought her some lights, here." "Ok, ok I need a ladder though, seriously Pilar, this is awkward." "Arham has a ladder and wants to help. Get off the couch...she's offering her knish recipe." "Arham? He's..." "Yes, the Ibrahims are Muslim and Arham wants to help. Samia wants the knish recipe too." *He looks at his extroverted wife for a long 5 seconds* "This is your doing." An hour later my Protestant husband is discussing the proper angle of the ladder with his Muslim friend Arham while holding the other half of the red and green Christmas lights bought by a Catholic woman that are being put on a Jewish woman's house while 4 women, a Jew, a Muslim, a Catholic (and immigrant), and another friend who is Protestant are all learning how to make Knishes in the kitchen of the Jewish woman's house. That is the real America.

Mormons are the biggest, least mainstream Christians out there that claim to be Christians. Some Christians claim them not to be Christian. Mainly a few Presbyterians & Baptists.

I used to be in LDS missionary and Dusseldorf Germany. We taught many Muslims and I became pretty close friends with a lot of them and in our conversations we both were amazing came to realize that how incredibly similar our religions were. I no longer LDS or Mormon now but I don't hold a grudge against them by any means. And even while I was still following the Mormon church I always had a sense of humor and it takes a lot to offend me when someone is just trying to be satirical and cheeky

@@maggedo-x1s After the 1054 Great Schism there have been the Western Catholic Church and the Eastern Orthodox Church. Then there was the Protestant Reformation starting in 1515 that created Lutheranism, Calvinism, Baptism, etc. Mormons and Jehovah Witnesses have their own beliefs, and they are not Protestants.
