The first joke about Russia that they would find weapons of mass destruction if they would be the USA is that they would have used them and that's why they would find them. Very dark but sadly true, like most of Volker Pisper comedy.

Yeah I guess those are all power games. They made him powerful against the Russians, but later he turned against them when the Cold War was over. So they created their own enemy.
