Dogging is sometimes nothing to do with taking the dog for a walk .In some respect it refers to making love outdoors

You appear to miss the whole point as to why it's called "dogging". The quadraped is just a prop for the real point of the exercise. Nope, they're not vital, but for expediency they're "handy" to have , hence why it's called that, if you're skulking around the woods looking for "some action". And no, i've never partook !!

Keeping a 'Dog out' is english slang for keeping a lookout for when accomplices are up to no good, ... so Dogging is just looking
