People used to look up to India in the ancient times. Foreigners used to study in Nalanda university. I remember ancient Chinese called India “civilized” and “center of knowledge”. When the westerns looted their own malls to stack items so selfishly not allowing the rest and the elderly to purchase, we in India opened up free feeding scheme for all those who are in need irrespective of caste, religion, region ,( ANNADHANAM) through good and compassionate-hearted humans in the form of philanthropists/Temple Volunteers/spiritual centers/ religious organizations throughout the country who silently distributed for the fellow brothern who are in need. This went on not for a day or two ,but during the entire period of the Pandemic wherein groceries and other food items were available for purchase only for a very brief period of time ,still this generosity of caring for the needy was in full swing. Added to that those who were returning to their native on foot( mainly labourers) were given sumptuous food, water in the road side food stalls erected specially to cater those people. This type of generosity is deep in the blood of common Indians down the eons, who will rush to help the needy. This is the core of Sanatana Dharma, to live and let live others, to respect others, and to cater to their needs in times of distress. This is in stark contrast with the behaviour of the Western world who are so very self centred and egoistical, living by looting others in times of Need. The Great Karma Bhoomi Bharat( INDIA) will certainly be following this SANATANA DHARMA for ETERNITY and will be the World Leader always when it comes to taking care of HUMANITY. Proud to be born in this Punya Bhoomi and to live here always.
