Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi initiated the no-confidence motion debate in Lok Sabha in place of Rahul Gandhi. He said, "We are compelled to bring the No Confidence Motion. This was never about numbers but about justice for Manipur. I move the Motion that this House expresses No Confidence in the Government. INDIA has brought this Motion for Manipur. Manipur wants justice."

If Manipur is burning why the Department connected concern is Com! Dismis the entire staff concerned! If any problems come police goes with vehicle and enter into the spot and take action! Why not done so at Manipur? Local Goondas spoiling the Manipur why no action taken! Why Government officials and entire system not done any thing to do the clearance? Higher levels say PM/ and entire staff with police force did not go and were keeping quite when Manipur is burning? Why PM has not given orders to nab the culprits who are responsible? What happened with plenty off staff is there. why did not attack the Goondas?

I'm happy the honourable member Gaurav Gogoi started with a riposte to the bossy comment even before the discussion. The attitude of the Government is bellicose in its majority, Gaurav was to the point. The start couldn't be better. It shows the concern I.N, D.I, A.has for the common man instead of herding everyone to serve the purpose. Later, why was this minister from Arunachal allowed to speak endlessly away from the subject at hand? His boring and meandering speech, not discussion, was promotional; keeping the general elections in mind. He committed some errors regarding his own state, even before it became a union territory. Unfortunately, the problems at hand are not being discussed. Everything, apart from witch-hunting and degrading the opposition, is promotional and self-aggrandising. A wonderful opportunity is being lost to tell the public about how the government is truly struggling to overcome the major problems the nation faces.
