Oh boy I would not call Hrithik a role model. He is tainted with affairs and is a floozy. Guy is not grounded, has no class. That is not a good "role model".

The guy is known for and praised for his well-manners and down to earth attitude - even to the degree that his ex-wife's parents sing his praises despite their break up!

@@gotahgemini6415 Oh my. Well the first one was Kisna movie. That is what led to his "divorce". he could not keep it in his pants. He is nothing to look at, and his wife a well-established, and model-gorgeous. HR is actually quite ugly. If he was not Rakesh Roshan's son and Rajesh Roshan's nephew - and those two not Roshan's sons - HR would not be anywhere. And if on the street, no one would give him a second look. To continue - After that he has been linked but perhaps a familiar and "profile" lady would be Kangana Renaut. Some may say she is nuts. Possibly. But where there is smoke there is fire. It was a long drawn out situation - in media. Not too sure of his exinlaws singing his praises. The ex-wife surely isn't. But she is civil. She is the one who had to live with him. Not the inlaws. And HR has to be nice to them. His kids are with the wife. And the ex-inlaws. Have a nice day.

@@queenofzee There is an opposite idiom for every idiom - using one doesn't make anything true (i.e. where there is smoke there is fire, well truth is stranger than fiction). Being the offspring of an actor/director only gives you a platform to launch, it cannot give you success - many BW actors have failed in this regard, so your argument is simply invalid. Moreover, he has proven himself a bankable actor outside his home production and a good one at that - one only needs to look at the facts here. Even in movies that didn't do well his acting was praised by both critics and the junta. It's actually very judgmental to call someone ugly, especially considering he has won Asia's sexiest man a couple of times and nominated even more times. It could be you dislike his features, but apparently many do not. Again, rumors and gossip is not to be taken as the truth - it's entertainment for the idle person. I disagree with the last part, in our desi culture the very opposite is the norm when it comes to divorce and how would we know if she is civil or not, we have never met her, so who knows. Your last part is purely based on speculation. I was going by what is talked about in interviews from established people in the industry. Guzzarish was a great film and touched on people's right to a dignified life. The world is still not 100% together on the right to making a choice on dying with dignity. Every person has the right to choose. I would not like to live in a vegetative state or a burden on my family. My choice, no one has the right to make that decision for me
