Why should farmers be provided MSP. Tomorrow the business community will also ask for government protection in case of any loss. The same goes for salaried professionals who should start asking for unemployment support.

If farming is not financially viable then change your professional. Most people won't leave because other professions would require you to pay taxes and no subsidy. Freebies and loan waivers have helped only rich farmers while small farmers continue to struggle. There is a need for bringing tax in agriculture for richer farmers.
