It's not the Centres fault, Most North Eastern States are working against Indian Government, any project is immediately benched stating various environmental and other problems, while the states themselves are not at fault here, they're being shadow controlled by our neighbours and western forces to stop development to these states and keep that part of India as it's weak point. Just go to the Chinese side of North East and see the development they are making in terms of military capabilities. Sad thing is people see these things but are made to forget by pumping more money to creat other distractions. You North East Indians have to take the stand to see if your State government is doing the right thing or not, and if not take a stand against them and support these development projects. And NO, making roads won't put the Environment in danger as many make you believe.

You should have evaluated the impact of cars on environment while making BS norms. If you want to scrap our cars, you need to purchase at 100% price before taking any further action. As per IIT Delhi, Dust pollution is 70% + of the pollution in Delhi. Under AAP, you have bad roads, broken road kerbs, broken pedestrian strips and these are the sources of dust. #NitinGadkari as transportation minister is the biggest source of vehicular pollution due to 15 year scrapping policy making cars redundant, adding to metal dump yards and causing a long term ecological as well as economic burden. Industrial smog gun and massive air purifier to be installed at kilometres of the city roads 7. Road vaccum cleaners should be running all over city 8. Delhi’s pollution is majorly due to overcrowding by vehicles in a dense landlocked area with no greens. If you stop all vehicles in delhi it’ll become pollution free in less than a week. The only option is to create huge number of lush parks on public/govt land with lots of greenery and trees. The parks need to be distributed evenly and specifically in hotspots with bumper to bumper traffic. They also need to plant trees/plants in road dividers throughout delhi. Apart from this the delhi govt needs to provide greater incentives than other govts for fully green evs and better deals on scrapping old vehicles. They need to sell their ice buses and trucks to other states for less money and convert the entire public transport to evs. Only after this is done can Delhi’s pollution situation will improve. And it’ll generate compounded results in air quality over time for a considerable time in the future. This is a must do.

Despite the fantastic and futuristic approach of Honourable Minister Mr. Gadkari showcasing his vehicles Toyota Mirai (Hydrogen powered) and Toyota Innova HyCross (Ethanol Hybrid), how does a person who has purchased a car worth 10-12 lakh rupees 2 yrs ago cope up with drastic fuel supply chain ammendment...? Already E10 fuel compatible 4-5 yr old vehicles have been proving extremely inefficient with BS6 fuels and alcohol's corrosive nature tends to damage rubber hoses, seals and gaskets. Does an average buyer need to change his/her vehicle every 5 yrs...? It is quite a single sided vision to consider vehicles as the sole contributor to NCR's air pollution. Lot more vehicles run in western countries woth an average age of such vehicles more than 10 yrs and those countries have extremely good AQI levels. This implies that the problem lies elsewhere.

Sir when GST and cess on cars over 4 meters will reform. 50 percent is only tax. Each state will charge it's own percentage of RTO charges. Why fully synthetic oils are not being standard for better fuel economy to save fuel. When will trucks will stop driving on overtaking lane. In expressway When will you apply fines for driving slow at inappropriate speeds on overtaking or fast lanes.

Road side pollution is big contributor... tyres friction over roads, dust along sides of roads, poor kerb management is leading to more than 30 % of pollution in cities. Other than coal thermal plants, Stubble burning, traffic . We can control all this. Its not difficukt. Just need will power of politicians.

- Stop selling Petrol/Deisel vehicle in Delhi, rather force to buy CNG and EV only. - Stop Entering any petrol Deisel car to enter in Delhi or take 500/- toll charges. - Increase forestation on all side at border area of Delhi. - purchase all husk (parali) from Panjab, UP and Haryana and use them in making use and through plates etc. - Parali also can be use as barrier which can stop spreading desert in Rajasthan. - Install shower sprinkler at the top of all buildings and use the wastewater to be sprinkling over the pollution and dust in some intervals. - Educate the people also use less vehicles. I saw people using their bike and cars for no reasons like just going out, doing party in the ignition on AC cars etc. ............................................................................................................................................................. I know these steps can't be possible in India because of democracy so only China can do it.

We have to understand the problem of pollution is not limited to delhi infact the entire north india include punjab,haryana,up,mp are in the trap we have to take this problem more comprehensively and symathetticaly,we cannot blindly abuses with any govt otherwise pollitician makes us fool the simple thing which i think is effective is either the judiciary or centre govt lead a committee or council like gst council which have the north indian states as member and gave them year wise target which have to be evaluated and the reward or punishment for the same has to be pre decided

Mr. Gadkari, i have always praised your ministry but with your actions and statements, i am forced to say that your ministry is all good for nothing when it comes to fight against Pollution. You said in a statement that You will increase taxes on Diesel cars so much that people will not buy and manufacturers will not manufacture diesel cars.. So this means that your govt will earn taxes and let people inhail pollution. You will eat up taxes and let people die. INSTEAD, why don't you just declare that Diesel Cars will not be SOLD from a certain date. People will be aware and will not buy. The already purchased cars will anyways expire after 15 years. Your Government, Car manufacturers, Scrap Dealers and all stake holders are just making money and are working hand in gloves with each other. Janta to pagal hai tumhe vote dekar... I paid tax for 15 years and you are stopping me to use it after 10 years.. You are just a Maneater Govt.
