Indicator is one of my favourite labels and they includes lots of extras and some niche films. I have got both the Mexican vampire set and Columbia Horror box set. My only slight grip is the boxsets looked have “shrunk” slightly from previous editions. I would like to see them expand their 4K range - particularly for Hammer films. I am excited that Hammer itself is now starting t9 release 4Ks. I am impressed by their first future release Captain Kronos - this was always an underated entry to classic Hammer horror series. The new box set is packed with great features and remastered discs. Thank you for another great episode.

As a child, my Saturday tv station played so many Mexican horror movies, including the Nostradamus vampire movies plus the movie Curse of the Doll People ( which terrified me as a child).

How times have changed that in Mexico we need to import (with converted prices) these Vampire films because we don’t even have new movies in physical media anymore.

@ElliotCoen - Might be easier to sat what I didn't get 🤣 Today's package was for the Rollin 4ks (there was a saving on top of the reduced price), 4Ks of Black Magic Rites and Snapshot. Then Limited Editions of Impossible Object, Jinnah, The Man Who Had Power Over Women, An American Tradegy, Desire, Honor Among Lovers and Love Me Tonight. Still have the Michael J Murphy and Todd Slaughter sets to come plus more Limited Editions including Bat Woman and Panther Women... Attempting to collect the whole label but trying to do that via CEX trading (buying cheap 2nd hand stuff and trading it in). Just need to find the time to actually watch it all...

Indicator is among the best labels, especially when it comes to older films (from the black & white era that is). I would categorize their significance for movie enthusiasts AND for film curation or film preservation similar to The Criterion Collection (which has lost some of its appeal over the years) and Eureka for example. Their sales are always painful, financially speaking. Great recommendations, thanks. One thing, though: I find it to be quite irritating if people try to measure films of an era long gone by „today’s standards“. One can point out the differences between the political tendencies of some movies, say directed by Fritz Lang and his less „influenced“ work. But putting on the often extremely biased glasses of today‘s ideologies does not do justice to these films, made under certain conditions during a different stage of society. Personal taste notwithstanding, of course. JMHO.

I hate Indicator now convert to automatically to USD for US buyers, the conversion is high, from $10 to $12 each.
