These little ones are my constant companions, especially when I'm crafting. I guess they know that I'll be spending hours in a room and they just like to be with me and I appreciate them so much. The maiden is spectacular Annie! I love the way the cats watch you work. I liked the narrative of the witches hat. I like the tan mat twist on the classic black hat. I made a tan one myself from a stylized witches hat and a floral applique from Temu. Ribbons and flowers as well on it. The cloche is wonderfully creepy! Stay happy and healthy my friend.❤

I love all your projects, the hat is adorable and I love the skeleton hand in the cloche it’s beautiful. My favourite though is the veiled head, it’s fantastic and I love the roses dipped in the plaster of Paris look so good around her head, you always do amazing fits Annie and they are always so different to anyone else’s. WOW!!! They are all gorgeous. I'm a history buff love those stories. So sad how so many innocent women and men were killed in those witch trials. The witch in Wizard of Oz scared one of my sisters. The flying monkeys scared me.

A ancestor Bridget Bishop was first witch burned at the stake in Salem.

Wow I have to look that up to learn more from what I had read it was more heresay than her being an actual witch. Apparently she had survived three husbands and wore colorful dresses and owned two taverns. She was accused of witchcraft with very little evidence except "eyewitness" statemnts that could not be proven. She was actually hanged alongwith 18 others accused and one man Giles Corey who was pressed to death. I didnt find any record of burnings in Salem.

No, they did that for the movie. Same thing with the shoes in the book. They're silver and in the movie they made them red because of technicolor. It's amazing how many things were adjusted just for the movie
