I did not understand a single word, but I saw the love in that room, the faces, and everyone singing along just brought tears to my old man's eyes. Music is truly the pathway to world peace. It cuts right through language, and cultures and goes right into your heart. I know nothing about old differences and past conflicts; let us enjoy good, beautiful music together.

Morocco is one of the very few countries to have preserved its independence for more than a millennium (12 centuries). Morocco had to submit to the French protectoat for 44 years, from 1912 to 1956. As a Moroccan, all I need to do is travel from Fez to Agadir to discover different traditions, food taste, music etc. This is no different from our Jewish ancestry. I feel richer listening to Moroccan-Jewish music and look forward to going to Israel someday and discover further Jewish traditions, food etc. There is so much that unites us. As for the may Algerians Hate-comments, there are not to be taken either seriously or personally. Algerians can’t even tolerate each other let alone any other race or culture. This is such beautiful music, and it is disappointing to read comments from non-Moroccans that simply displays intolerance and ignorance. Please make your way to hate-forums and leave us enjoying this lovely music in peace.

Those are Moroccans. They are always welcomed in Morocco like their ancestors were. In Morocco, tolerance is prevailing and no room for hatred for other ethnicities. All peoples whether are Muslims or Jews are equal and brothers and servants of the same God.

It sadly strange how this Morocco land accepts and embraces all people from different ethnicities except it's own, they are all poor and badly educated. No jobs, nor freedom of speech, and no adequate healthcare. Moreover, the future seems darker than the present or the past.
