The USC Dornsife Center for Advanced Genocide Research shares videos from its 2022 conference "Mass Violence and Its Lasting Impact on Indigenous Peoples - The Case of the Americas and Australia/Pacific Region," which was held at the University of Southern California, on the ancestral and unceded territory of the Tongva and Kizh Nation peoples, and livestreamed on Zoom from October 22 to October 26, 2022.
This video includes the conference keynote address entitled "Indigenous Elimination, Settler Apocalypse, and Relational Hope" by Kim TallBear (Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate, Dakota, Cheyenne and Arapaho Tribes) (University of Alberta, Canada, Faculty of Native Studies). She is introduced by one of the conference organizers Dorota Glowacka (University of King's College, Halifax, Canada).
