You don't know how much this means to me as a Palestinian. When I was in art school, I explained to one of my professors that Palestinian history was similar to that of the indigenous of Canada. He quickly told me that I would be "appropriating" the indigenous cause. For the longest time, I felt invisible. I'm pleased that our children are finally visible to this side of the world! Why aren't you in solidarity with all of the millions of civilian victims of all the Muslim civil wars that have been waging in Lebanon, Syria, Libya, Yemen, Iraq and Iran, Russia and China. Why don't you care about them? Why is it only when the Jews are involved that you get all emotional. Why do you not condemn Hamas that (1) started the war, (2) massacred 1400 individual civilians in the most brutal way possible, (3) took 240 hostages, including babies and the elderly, and (4) continually shoot rockets at Israelis civilian populations, and (5) is using its own civilian population as human shields? Why do you ignore the fact that Hamas is a proxy for Iran that wants to dominate the Middle East? Why do you not give the Israelis credit for doing everything it can to save Gazan civilian lives, including giving them 20 days to vacate the area of the war? Hama’s actions are a direct result of fascist Israeli policy. You can’t lock up over 2 million people in an open air prison, control EVERYTHING that goes in and out of the borders of this prison - and expect them not to retaliate. Also you bring up the hostages, but what about the over 5000 Palestinian hostages (many of them children) that have been kept in Israeli prisons for YEARS without being convicted of any crimes? Your claim that Israelis deserve credit for “doing everything they can to save Gazan civilians lives” is LAUGHABLE. Israel has been clearly and indisputably TARGETING civilians and that is on film for the whole world to see. You can’t bomb schools, hospitals, churches, mosques and whole civilian neighbourhoods and then turn around to claim you are somehow ethical and moral. They are not fighting Hamas, they’re trying to push the gazan population into the Sinai desert. The jig is up. Criticising Israel’s clear and blatant war crimes is not anti semitism, people like you are the reason the word has lost all its meaning.

@@saharasarah6099 a basic principle of claims to indigenaity requires a continuous, unbroken relationship to the land, that is why having indigenous heritage is not the same as *being indigenous* per se. Meaning a continuous unbroken relationship to the land & the living culture of place inherent to the lands in question. There have always been jewish peoples in the region, however, jewish claims to indigenaity are not unquestionable inherent truth. In fact, critical questions belong at the forefront. There is no world where a Jewish person born in Montreal whose family have come to North America from Poland has greater claim than an olive farmer from Ramallah whose family have been living on the same land for 22 generations. The whole framework is nonsense.

It's not a millenia old conflict. It all just started about 100 years ago when the British gave someone else's land that did not even belong to them to someone else. It's not a religious conflict either. It's about land theft, settler colonialism, ethnic cleansing, Apartheid and straight out racism and racial supremacy. Palestinians are Muslims, Christians and Jews. All of them were disposessed from their homes, ethnic cleansed from their land by settlers from Europe and placed into a 5 miles by 25 miles concentration camp of many others. Their food, water, medicine and electricity is rationed and at times stopped as collective punishment for their resistance to their colonization. Their people were scattered around the world in refugees camps as their land and homes were given to Europesn and American colonial settlers. Nothing comes close to the struggle Indigenous peoples in the Americas have gone through than this. Learn about the issue first before you dismiss it.

With that said, I don’t believe that civilians in the Gaza Strip are purposefully being targeted by the IDF forces. If Ìsraél (have to edit the name here because it’s getting censored 🙄) REALLY wanted to kill EVERYONE in the Gaza Strip right now, they have the manpower and weapons to do so. But they WON’T. You know who DOES want them to kill innocent civilians, for the sake of their idiotic Islamic Jihad? *HAMAS.* IDF forces have been trying to get civilians to safely evacuate the area in order to properly execute the Hamas terrorists that are practically using them as human shields. I know I can’t force you to believe me, so I will just leave you with that. IDF is actively trying to open areas where civilians can safely evacuate in order to clear the area for the siege. Hamas is actively trying to STOP civilians from leaving. Why is it though, that I’m seeing such few condemnation of these Hamas scumbags and their atrocities from the pro-“Palestine” crowd? Because as someone that has seen a good lot of the horrific footage, I can tell you it is not “freedom fighting.” Take a moment to imagine how horrific it was for the people to experience the things in that horrific footage. This is just a small list of what I saw: -Hamas Terrorists breaking into a house and murdering two parents before storming into their young children’s shared bedroom and shooting them both point-blank in the head. -Hamas Terrorists murdering a man and stuffing his newborn baby in an oven, all while taking turns raping the horrified mother before eventually murdering her too. -Hamas Terrorist killing a Dog that was defending his/her caretakers before they would inevitably be murdered by the Hamas Terrorists. -Photo of an Ìsraéli mother-to-be who was killed by Hamas Terrorists. She was shot and her unborn child was ripped from her stomach. A Hamas Terrorist then proceeded to behead the unborn child.
