This was truly the best scene in the movie, no political correctness, no treating someone like an elder or a child, but pure discussion and argument on one of the most debated topics in the world. Also, Logan Lerman is amazing

Trey Flynn Indeed. However, I was disappointed by the dean's reaction and point of rebuttal.

that was by far the best scene I've seen in forever.. every movie nowadays, seems only to keep to 1 to 2 minute scenes unless its some chase in a car.. you'll see quentin tarantino do long conversation scenes like this, but no one else seems to take on the task. And I was half expecting them to make the Christian to be the intolerant and out-of-controlled one, surprisingly, it was quite the opposite.

Bojames Is it not almost always the case? Christians don't see to acknowledge how some individuals choose to be an atheist. He state his reasons for his lack of religious or social life to which the dean failed to attempt in understanding. The dean demands tolerance and yet he failed to do so. And how he seemingly wants him to address his jewish background. It is beyond annoying. And the chapel requirement is so BS.
