TL;DR I agree with some of your points, and the game will most likely get better. Long version; Oh i absolutely agree, though definitely gotta give UniqueGeese some slack, it’s one of his first games (from what I’ve heard, can’t find enough info to back that claim up though). I also like how the story is at least kind of comprehensive, compared to GoBB, where nothing really makes sense and just makes me question everything. It was insane to see indigo parks chapter 2 kickstarter (for anyone who doesn’t know, UniqueGeese launched a kickstarter after chapter one to keep the game going) got FULLY funded after less than 2 days. (Just looking it up now again, they funded more than 3x the original goal!) I do agree with some of your points though, it is kind of basic, and not the most scary game, but I - who barely can handle any horror aspect of a game/movie - find the horror factor just perfect. Oh and the game actually runs well without crippling my pc, compared to the previous game I mentioned.

Traitorous AI companions are a pretty tired trope by now in the mascot horror genre, so I really hope that Rambley is genuine in his emotions and friendship, or at least would grow to be more friendly with you as you work together to restore the park. Imo far I doubt that he would be a twist villain. Worst thing he’d do is likely refuse to let the player leave til the park is fixed, or get temporarily hacked/corrupted by the skunk character, who seems to be the upcoming BBEG, if not the mastermind behind the park’s downfall.

Hopefully you can find all the collectibles. The first three (Lloyd, Finley, and Rambley plushies) are in the start area at the entrance, One in front of the gate, One on the stack of boxes behind you at the gate, and one of the stack of boxes in the generator room, the second one (Mollie Plushie) is across the area from the gift shop, the fifth one (Raction figure) is in the women’s restroom before Rambley’s railroad, the ramble ears are on the shelf next to the generator when you’re collecting the gears to fix the ride, the poodle plush is on the second floor of jetstream Junction while you’re heading up to Molly’s rooftop races, the berry is in Rambley’s rush arcade game in Molly’s garage, the gold ram we pushes in the restaurant in the indigo Park Plaza, the Rambley juice cup is in the café, The Rambley costume mask is on your right on the shelf while you’re running away from Molly in the chase scene, And the Retro Lloyd plush it’s OK on the shelf to your left when you head to the royal wrangler room before you exit the door that is also to your left. Hope you can find them all including the secrets. If you don’t have all of the collectibles with you please be sure to find them in your second play through to learn about them. Good luck Stanley!

I have a theory, at the part where you get off to turn on power so rambley stops glitching, I noticed that the Mollie and Finley Animatronics were in storage, but I also noticed that Lloyd, Mollie, and Finley have these kind of realistic models which makes me think that The Creators of Indigo Park may have tried to make these humanoid, realistic versions of the characters, there’s a reference that ties into another theory which is why I have this theory, and during the chase scene with mollie, if you die, it pops up with information, one of the pop ups say “Mollie can repeat words she’s heard” which makes me think what she says during the chase sequence, is why she says certain things, but what I also noticed was a couple or more voicelines from her saying “get in your cage, bird.” Or something that doesn’t sound like what she would say at all, this really makes me think they tried making these humanoid versions of the characters, and then they were locked up, the reference about “old sport” kinda sounds off, and this is where mollie comes in, because though it sounds like humans, it probably isn’t, being that it’s been 10 years since they’ve had a visitor, and the pure decay of Indigo Park, I genuinely think that it wasn’t an manager and an employee talking about how the animatronic versions would take their jobs, I feel like it was a cover up that mollie made to hide what truely happened to the humans at Indigo Park. (y’all don’t gotta read all this btw)
