Although he lost the election but he lodged a case against Mrs.Gandhi in Allahabad High court for doing malpractice in the 1971 loksabha election....and surprisingly he won the case and Indira Gandhi was disqualified as loksabha member and not able to contest election for next 6 years and the next election was in 1976 so she put emergency after 10 days after this judgement....
