Hi there. Great video. Just 1 question. Why are we choosing the 3-Parameter Weibull distribution when the Johnson Transformation shows the highest P-value > 0.05?
@learnandapply2 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your valuable comments and appreciation 🙏☺ You can select any distribution with a p-value of more than 0.05

Is there a package for R that provide this similar results?

Thank you for your valuable comments, but so sorry as I am an expert in Minitab with no exposure to R. If you want the package for the Minitab, you can get it at the link: vijaysabale.co/minitab

Hiii sir, thanks for the great video. I'm sorry i wanna ask, i have data that all the p-value are under 0.05 and then i saw your reply in another comment said that if that happened we can decide based on smallest LRT p-value. In my data there are 2 distribution that has 0.000 LRT Pp-value, the first one has larger AD and P-value, the second one has smaller AD and P-value. Which distribution should i choose?
@learnandapply Жыл бұрын
You are correct! Please use the distribution with lower LRT p-value. Thank you for your valuable comments and appreciation! 🙏😊

@@learnandapply Thanks for your reply! I'm sorry i wanna ask again, what if in my data there are 2 distribution that have the smallest LRT P-value?
@learnandapply Жыл бұрын
That's fine. If you don't have any distribution with a p-value of more than 0.05, you need to use the LRT p-value. You need to select the smallest LRT p-value, less than 0.05 in this case. You can select any distribution with this value.

In this example Johnson transformation has P value = 0.986 But why we go for 3 parameter weibull? Thanks in advance
@learnandapply3 жыл бұрын
In data transformation, there will be a change in data to fit a normal distribution. If any other distribution is fitting to the data, then please avoid the transformation. The transformed data can create confusion in a team sometimes. Thank you for your valuable comments!

Thanks for video..sir I have data ,I gone through individual distribution identification test but found all "p" values in propabilty summary are less than 0.05 .As per the checkpoint for distribution type , we are deciding the distribution when the respective "p" value is more than 0.05.In my scenerio how to decide the distribution type when all values are below 0.05. plz your guidence required.
@learnandapply4 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your valuable comments and question. In that case, you have to use LRT p values. It's there in the video. Please go through it and let me know if you have any further questions.
@vilasnarkede18984 жыл бұрын
@@learnandapply ok so ..we have to go for lowest LRT "p " value in that case??
@learnandapply4 жыл бұрын
Yes, the LRT p values which is less than 0.05
