I tried this noodles a week ago for the first time and they're so good. Normally I add different toppings to my noodles (German sausage, fried egg and a slice of cheese is my default), but with Mi Goreng I just added a fried egg and still tasted better than any other I've had before. For me the best part is that they have the perfect spiciness.

N even if it's still spicy like people who have spicy phobia, u can just cut off the sambal pack 👌 Tho. Lots of people usually didn't do that cuz it's also sweet from the soy sauces..

My mother from japan told me that whenever you eat noodles use chopstick to be respectful when eating but when i came to indonesia to study i see my friend using fork and i was like "Why do you guys use fork?" My friend "What do you mean?" Me "Why do you guys use fork instead of chopstick?" My friend "it's our tradition of habit to use fork the only thing you have to be respectful here is no talking or watching phone while eating cuz my father said you have to be thankful for having a meal. Other people haven't been receiving a good meal so it's good for you to have atleast that." And that day i learned that being respectful is also thanking for having something good that your parents maybe before have a struggle to buy an expense of good things.

There are many variations of cooking this noodle, but I prefer it with the addition of sweet mustard greens, with an omelette. Initially boil the noodles, drain them, then sauté the onions after they are cooked, add the egg, stir until half cooked, then add the noodles, stir until evenly coated with the spices, then add the vegetables.. After ± 3 minutes over medium heat, remove the noodles and it's ready to be served..
