Today in the guide we will talk about a very interesting, albeit fictitious, car. The IS-2-II will begin the branch of double-barreled guns in the USSR research tree in the World of Tanks.
This tank appeared in the game with the release of update 1.7.1 for World of Tanks and can be explored with the KV-3. This tank unlocks the Tier 9 IS-3-II TT.
Let's start with the advantages. The tank has 2 guns, and several firing options: cyclic, drum for 2 shells and salvo. The salvo has a noticeable disadvantage, since it blocks the reloading of guns for several seconds. But at the same time, you can issue 2 alphas 300+300.
We won’t look at the stock car, because it’s already clear that everything is bad there, especially with the twin 85 mm guns. So the best solution would be to open modules using free experience.
The IS-2-2 has comfortable guns with a good alpha of 300 units and good armor penetration. It should be noted that the premium projectile here is a sub-caliber one. The guns also have a comfortable aiming time, but the spread leaves much to be desired. We are also pleased with the good UVN (-7), thanks to which the game with this TT will become more comfortable. The DPM cannot be particularly encouraging.
There is only armor in the turret, don’t rely on armor in the hull, everything will penetrate it. The HP reserve is in many ways already standard for level 8 TT. The dynamics are tolerable, the top speed is not great, but not terrible either. The tank's turret rotates rather slowly, and so does the tank itself.
Advantages and disadvantages of IS-2-II
To better understand the mechanics of playing a tank, you need to be well aware of all its strengths and weaknesses. The case of the IS-2-2 is no exception, and to make it easier for you to navigate the variety of characteristics, we will highlight the main nuances separately.
Pros:
• Good alpha strike;
• Excellent penetration parameters;
• Large safety margin;
• Excellent turret armor;
• Decent dynamics.
• New mechanics.
Minuses:
• Very low visibility;
• Poor accuracy.
• Poor hull armor.
• Large dimensions of the tower;
• turret rotation speed is not the best.
Tactics for playing the IS-2-2
First of all, it is worth studying the possibilities and nuances when playing with 2 guns. Then it’s worth noting that our tank has good mobility and good turret armor, as well as disgusting accuracy and very comfortable air defenses. From all this it follows that camping from the bushes will not be very effective. The IS-2-II in World of Tanks is primarily a melee vehicle, which, using its unique mechanics, is capable of repelling opponents. Therefore, try to get closer to your opponents when playing in the top; when playing against levels 9 and 10, it is best to support your allied tops from the second line. Remember that thanks to the mechanics of changing guns you will be able to take 2 shot tanks, and thanks to the salvo you will be able to deal significant damage (300+300).
We have excellent potential damage per minute, aiming time at the ST level and accuracy that other heavyweights can only envy. The key drawback remains the lack of visibility; even with full “stuffing”, it will not yet be possible to accelerate it to the maximum value without coated optics.

Начал качать этот танк, стоковая пушка стоит приходится чаще всего фугасами стрелять.И поиграть на Исе не удается постоянно стоковые бои.Когда паражение сразу гасят,а когда победа своих догнать не могу)))

8 и 9 уровни отличные машины, а вот топ беда, не продаю только потому, что в прынципе вобще с ангара не чего не продаю.

Только у меня двойной выстрел глючит? Прицел рывками прыгает, вообще не возможно в никого попасть, даже с 5 метров....не зажимаю прицел - плавно ходит, зажимаю для 2 выстрелов - прицел глючит и рывками ходит на пол прицела.....

Я новичек в танках на ПК, в блитс около 1.5к боёв решил скачать попробовать и вот 200 боёв ,открыл ис2-2 . И хелката и на сток Исе взял 1 степень сразу збил х2-х5 и открыл топовую пушку и как по мне он останется у меня в ангаре даже когда у меня будет 100 к серебра, кстати ищу клан

В условиях текущего рандома танк не очень, к пушке претензий нет, кайфовая, а вот к броне... Танкует он норм, но опять же 2 пушки... И если танкуешь от угла дома, то одна пушка смотрит на цель, вторая на угол дома, а если откатываешься чуть назад открываешь свой картонный низ... И вот если бы этот танк был 7 уровня, то да тогда, был бы ну очень комфортным... До уровня 8 танк не дотягивает

Как по МНЕ танк говна кусок просто непонятная абсолютно задержка перед выстрелом ОБЫЧНЫМ в 1с и к чему эти ОТКАТЫ самого танка после выстрела просто стрельнул и откатился на пол метра назад хренота какая то-механика двух стволов на 100 мап я дай бог 2 раза дуплетом дал ну не в кустах же на ТТ стоять....для меня одно разочерование как и вся ветка НАША ТТ
