Indonesian "Bandracers" aka Lima Pirates aka Bizarre Chanting (7000kHz LSB, 1000+ UTC)

Theyre still going strong sometimes for hours just doing this odd thing called frequency bandracing. I'm not really sure what its for. Using websdr with antenna located in the Philippines c/o Radyo Amateurista Isla de Negros dx6ran.ddns.net....

mystical sect chanting, may be? I live in Java.. some words in this chanting (the loudest one I guess) said in Javanese language "ojo lali ojo lali" means "don't forget dont forget", others sounds like just a bizarre words.. or words of different ethnic group that I don't know.. but still, it sounds weird even for Indonesian..

I don't know exactly... I only heard "ojo lali", "cukup" means "enough", or "calik" (Sundanese language) means "sit down", other words seems like a swear word or simply random... I don't know they seem to chant random words... but when one of them shout "cukup" then they all will be stop/pause the chanting like it was coordinated..

after trying to listen to the freq tonight, it seems they are indeed band racers

It appears to be a game. A guy will tell the rest to start chanting, and then after a while, they stop, and he replays a recording back. So it's like he tells them when to start, so he can record it. Then they all listen to the playback. If you listen closely, this is what it sounds like they are doing. Sort of like "who is the loudest". That kind of thing.

Someone can explain this more succinctly but I understand its a way of finding out who has the loudest clearest reception so they hog the frequency competing with each other. Its illegal so that's why I don't hear anyone else doing it.
