How can you stereotype a country which has one of the oldest Christian churches in the world? Your hate and racism goes against the teachings of the Lord. If India had been in stone age I myself would not have existed. Because Jews, Romans would not had come to a fourth world uncivilized nation for trading or settling. St. Thomas would not have shown interest in India if India was fourth world like Africa. And Indians would not have worshipped him. Nor would Alexander have dreamt of conquering India . All third world places were ignored at that time by the Greeks and Romans. India, Persia obviously were not third world the reason why their presence were known. Egypt too. Look I am Persian- Jew. From my maternal side I have descended from the Kochin, whereas my paternal ancestors were Oriental Jews from Iran. The Jewish community in India is one of the oldest overseas Jewish community which dates back to 3000 years when the first Jews from the Holy Land settled in Southern India as merchants. There is a huge community of Christians in India, who are not missionary European converts at all. In fact they are even older than Roman catholics. The St. Thomas's Christians of South India who belong to the Malankara South Indian Syrian Christian Church which is far far older than Roman Catholic Church and is one of the oldest Christian churches in the world dating back to 52 AD when St. Thomas the Apostle founded it. St. Thomas is buried in India, he taught his disciples in the local South Indian language, Malayalam which was taught to him by the Jews who were already residing there as Merchants. Southern India was a huge trading post for the Roman Empire and also Jews who were under Roman rule at that time. Jews had known of India since the time king Solomon sent ships there to trade for spices and gold according to the Torah. Ancient India was truly a prosperous civilization because that is why the Classical World had established trade, diplomatic relations with India. The Greeks visited India extensively since Alexander set his foot here who himself was attracted by the wealth of India that he dreamt of Conquering it. You should read the English translations of the travel accounts of ancient Greek philosophers and senators like Megasthenes who wrote the book Indica where he has highly admired the Indian civilization, Mauryan empire. Moreover there are writings by Dionysius, Herodotus, Archimedes, and the Roman Senator Plini the Elder (who visited Southern India). Archaeological findings show Southern India had a massive trade maritime route with the Roman Empire. The discovery of a statue of Indian goddess in the ruins of Pompei and a buddha statue in the ruins of Alexandria shows clearly of a prosperous relationship between Greco-Romans and India.
