Smoke exposure from indoor cookstoves kills more than 2 million people - mostly women - each year. In Kenya, where 90% of people lack access to clean energy and cooking facilities,
families are forced to rely on unhealthy, inefficient, and cost-prohibitive fuels, which limit their financial sustainability and increase their health risks. BURN Manufacturing Co. is tackling this challenge. With their innovative, clean cookstoves, BURN offers low-income people an affordable solution that protects the health of people and planet.
Explore the homes of two BURN customers in this virtual reality session to see the negative impact of inefficient fuels and alternative solutions from BURN's cookstove technology.
