I would add *ventilation*--simply keeping one window in the classroom open, as well as classroom doors and an open hallway window to create a draft--to increase air changes/hour, and also suggest computer fan-equipped CRboxes instead of box fans because they're much quieter. Teachers unfortunately turn off air purifiers because they don't like the noise. :(

Yes, ventilation is key. Fresh air is the best. I was asked to do a talk specifically around filtration, but should have also included ventilation. I'll be doing an updated version of this in a little bit and will be sure to add ventilation then. The key thing about filtering and noise is to have a couple of units and run them at a quieter speed, rather than 1 running at high (noisy) speed.

I have been wondering what on earth the solution is to schools and large spaces. Very few people here in metro Vancouver are masking any longer ( perhaps 8-10 % of people are still masking ). We need large scale political will to do EXACTLY what you are presenting in this video. Thank you for this!
