@@lindaannb thank you 💕 when you’re ready to grow Neofinitia you will enjoy them! They are adorable and pack such a punch of fragrance! Such small plants where the fragrance fills a room. Amazing 😻

i find it helpful to date my orchids; when I acquire it, then date it when I repot

@@f.dangerfield3549 great suggestion! I had everything on a log on an external drive and when it dropped to the ground and busted…I lost all that info.

Hi Dee Dee, You have a beautiful collection. I have a Phragmipedium Eric Young also. His blooms are so cute, and I love the peach color. You can expect even more blooms. I purchased mine as near blooming size in October 2023 and it bloomed from the beginning of March to the end of July 2024, with 8 sequential blooms. I also have a larger cousin to your Chocolate Chip. Mine is a Den. Spotted Poni (Den. Roy Tokunaga × Little Atro). It does seem like the blooms take a long time to develop, however they can last for several monthes. Also the canes can bloom multiple times. I hope you enjoy them both for many years! Hugs, Sherrii

@@sheiselwilliams1 wow 8 blooms! 😻 That would be fantastic! Eric Young is still on the 3rd bloom, looking so beautiful 🤩 and working on the 4th bud. Did you support the flower spike? Good to know the lautoria types can rebloom from the same cane…reminds me of my Aussie Dendrobiums. Thanks so much for sharing your experience on our shared types of orchids 💕

@@deedeeblooms7896 Hi Dee Dee, No, I didn't support the flower spike. I had it on an upper shelf of a plant stand where it would get bumped into and where my dogs tails wouldn't be near it. It didn't have any problems with the weight of the blooms as it extended. Mine only had one bloom open at a time.

Your dendrobium chocolate chip is beautiful. I have a dendrobium chocolate chip and also a dendrobium latouria little norman. My little norman came with blooms it lasted quite a while. I am waiting for the chocolate chip to Bloom. Buds waiting patiently.

@@lisaallen7219 thank you 💕 this type won me over when they finally fully opened. The patterns are so lovely. I also like the look of the growths. Like mini Dr. Seuss trees 🌴💕. Oh and I need to look up Little Norman! That’s my maternal grandfathers name! ❤️
