In fact, the hight and the weight of horses doesn't influence on heaviness on the reins. It depends how a horse has been ridden. But on my opinion, that pair is an example, where the rider takes some weight of the horse, actively sending him (Parzival) forward. I can imagine that it's 5-10 kg (on two hands)

I ride with Russian Riding School and I'm sure that it doesn't damage my horses at all (as physically as mentally). But even professionals of rollkur/hyperflexion cannot say that they can keep health of sport horses to old age. But Russian professionals do not only promise this, but their horses are also in excellent condition until their death. I also wish you all the best.

May be, you are right. In my country, where I ride, all the riders should take an exam every year (pull-ups, push-ups, running, lifting weight). Our horses perform somehow, but 'that is all except fair riding'.

That curb is nearly parrallel to the ground. Did the judges notice. It is time to realize how cruel ddressage is in some riders hands.

Valegro and Totilas are Symbols of a side of the one coin. Each side represents a different method of Training. So Toto and Valegro are the ultimate symbols to hold ourselves a mirror in Front of US! That have been their ultimate Moral Mission towards us. And Valegro always wins over Totilas as He was beautifully classicaly trained with time.

For real I love Dutch Dressage riders, but this woman has the arms of a bodybuilder with the pulling in poor Parzivals mouth. Shes such an unfriendly rider...

Well, you don't see Parzival complaining, Do you? It's about the horse that people must worry about. If you don't see him trying to get the reins looser then it must be how he likes the position. Some horses are capable of a deeper, rounder position then others. Parzivals neck is very long, and that makes him a horse with a rounder position. Almost the same as Charmeur.

@@jephianey7866 No, she is infamous in the FEI for abusing her horses, and has been disqualified several times for it, including using bits that cut off circulation to get horse's tongue (turning it purple) and pulling so hard on his mouth that it's dripping blood.

Indeed, "fair riding" looks like something very subjective, and FEI judges have a special kind of subjectiveness nowadays ... I don't care about any performance of any country and all the best to you if you think this kind of ride garantees the horses health : I'm sure you don't bother anything more of the blood rule. Have a nice day.

I'm honestly disgusted by her. If you look closely, you can see that there's foam and saliva dripping from the horses' mouth, which usually means a broken jaw. That means that she uses abusive training on the horse. Not only that, instead of leaving and letting the horse heal or rest, she comes to the show and still drags the poor horse around. Obviously all she cares about is medals...
@jephianey7866

Where did you read that exactly? That's no sign of abusive training. That's a sign of feeling good, while working. He enjoys the work that has been asked of him to do. Every horse does that. From Totilas to Desperado, Everdale and Nespresso. Every dressage horse does this. So stop reading and ask professionals first.

A horse’s mouth foaming while riding is usually a sign that the horse is relaxed and softly yielding to the rider’s cues given via reins (called, in horse jargon, “accepting the bit” or “on the bit”, which we’ll talk more about in a moment). Foam at the mouth is a good sign that a horse is relaxed and happy. Most of the time when you see foam around a horse’s mouth, it’s because it’s “on the bit.” This simply means that the horse has yeilded the bit and they aren’t fighting against it. This is good because it means that they will be more receptive to a rider’s cues. When a horse is relaxed, the horse is more mobile in its jaw and tongue around a bit more. This stimulates a gland, near where the horse’s head meets the neck, which can cause your horse to salivate more, which creates a foamy appearance. In dressage and other equestrian disciplines, this is considered a good thing. A saliva duct exists in a horse’s throat latch area (just behind the jaw, where the head meets the neck), and when a horse is stressed or carrying its head awkwardly, the duct does not function properly, resulting in a dry mouth. Ideally, you want your horse to be relaxed enough that they’re moving their mouth around. If your horse is anxious instead of calm, then they won’t be able to execute the complex maneuvers gracefully.
