You sure do got some good ideas . I like reusing the clear containers that has had baked goods in them to start seed in. I bought my first non organic fertilizer in like 10 years so I could try stuff like this. I messed with some organic stuff it becomes a little stinky..

Hi Khang! I was wondering if you could do a review of the Park Seed Biodome? I haven't used them myself yet. I just bought my first one last year after growing season. I ordered a second one for this growing season. I'm in Wisconsin and it's early in the season, I also have seeds on the way, new varieties to try... Thanks for all the great videos!

id like to see a video on the mechanics of crossing can’t find the answer to one thing if for example i crossed something and then take the seeds from that cross and want to search for a desirable trait to get many different traits do i need many different pods of that cross or just one pod has tons of ? seeds in it and the will all be different within that same pod ? i’m wondering if i should cross multiple flowers or just one will do the trick by giving me 15 very different plants from the seeds of just one crossed pod thanks

hi, there Khang star I just started gardening for the first time around a month ago, I bought new seeds and everything. one of the seeds I bought were bhut jolokia. I have one set of seeds in coco coir pellets for the last 2 and a half weeks I yet to see any growth. I have another set of seeds in a kitchen tissue in a ziplock bag for the last week and a half and have not seen any progress. I know some peppers take longer than usual, but should I be concerned?

How do you prevent root rot? I get that sometimes with kratky. I always make sure not to have the water level below the net cup but it still happens.

After you cross two plants and they grow and you use those seeds to produce your newest one, do you continue growing the seeds from the best looking pod and is there a maximum you should continue to grow them out? or do you cross again each time?
@KhangStarr5 жыл бұрын
I grow seeds from the best pods out for many seasons more. Always grow at least 5 plants because you will see some recessive traits show up on different plants.

Can anyone link me a good but cheap light for indoor growing? IAnd also what else I’ll need for a basic hydroponic setup (I’ll only be growing around 3 peppers at s time). I’ve got the plastic bottles and beer stubbys and I’m going to order the hydroponic net cups and some rock wool cubes, as well as some hydroponic nutrients. Also, what nutrients will I need? General Hydroponics seems like a good start and how long does each bottle last? Thanks guys. I

Hi ,Soni wanted to know what causes root rot in a kratky method and you mentioned the plant goes into shock when they increasing nutrients strength, how how many times do you change nutrients strengths for peppers until harvest,thank you in advance
@CarlosRamirez-wt4yi5 жыл бұрын
Lack oxygen circulating in the roots. Depending on what stage the plant is you can get away by watering down the nutrient solution ratio so you dont burn or shock them
@CarlosRamirez-wt4yi5 жыл бұрын
Lack of circulating oxygen causes root rot... contaminated water

how do i change the PH of soil ? my plant has spots, but its in soil
@colbybernard76025 жыл бұрын
how do you calibrate your pH meter, mine says to use deionized water which is hard to find unless you buy large portions online.
@KhangStarr5 жыл бұрын
Different meter calibrates differently, but you will need a pH liquid base. The liquid comes in 7.0 and 4.0. You pour 7.0 calibration liquid into a cup and use your meter to check. If the reading is not near 7, you adjust it to match.
@colbybernard76025 жыл бұрын
