Trekking to DHAULADHAR MOUNTAINS was always my dream, Whenever I visit Dharamshala the spectacular and Majestic Dhauladhar mountains attracted me towards themselves.
This year, I was on training in Dharamshala for period of 6 weeks and I made plan to trek to Dhauladhar mountains with my friend.
We did one night camping midway and along with INDARHAR PASS TREKK, we covered one more Prime Landmark of Dhauladhar Mountains, that is kept as surprise for all of you.
I have given the full information, guide and tips about Dhauladhar Mountains
and about planning of this trek in video.
This journey was remarkable achievement for me as it was my fitness and endurance test.

I did triund trek in early January, decided to go up to snowline the next day didn't know about the indrahar pass though. Went to snowline alone and while returning i got lost and even fell a few times, had a very bad ankle sprain. I was lucky enough to find a group from triund who helped me get down from triund.

Oh it seems you had a tough experience of trekking in Dhauladhar. The best time to trek beyond Triund is in the month of June, September and October only. Avoid trekking in July and August due to the rainy season.

Thank you very much for your words, The guide would cost you around approx 2.5-3k per day for this particular trek and it doesn't include food and stay. That's separate and would cost you around minimum 1k per night.

Yes you can, but before starting The trek make sure you’re familiar with hiking in these mountains and you have to deposit a entry fee beyond Bhagsunag at Forest Check point.

Hey If you're not familiar with these terrains and trekking I advise you to take a guide along with you or if you're going for the first time go up to TRIUND with your friends and it's a great spot you'll enjoy hiking and staying there.
