Nice video, like them a lot. But on 1:45, internet doesn't really nessicerally drive slower, usually most of the packages-cars-trucks just crash on the way and dont become useful on the other end, meaning only maybe 1% of the packages are usefull and can be used. Or, the network sends heavier trucks in some shape or form or other.

This video section is meant to express that the speed mode between 2 ports is negotiated automatically = autonegotiation. If one port / both ports detect that more and more error telegrams are arriving, e.g. due to high netload or cable pinch, they will automatically slow down the speed mode.

Hi, the video refers to a switch and not WWW. I do not know a global infrastructure.

Right, the video shows the world in the switch and around it, mostly in one or more production halls. However, there are more and more ports to WWW, which are managed by switches / routers.
