Let's think about this for a second... the main kinds of anime that feature this type very of loosely established "edgy" philosophy to character design are shonens and occasionally shoujo. In other words, only animes that specifically target teenage~young adult audiences. Prime edgelord years, if you get my meaning. Basically, you know how Digimon designs were based around stuff little boys would think is cool (thus how we ended up with dinosaurs carrying automatic machine guns, the epitome of cool as any 10 year old boy might tell you)? Shonens are essentially the same except that they're designed to appeal to a slighty older but incredibly more self centered crowd that's desperate to assert themselves as cool, edgy and mysterious despite lacking the substance that would cement them as such in the long run by virtue of real life getting in the way. These guys are the teenage equivalent to machine gun wielding dinosaur pet warriors. Not that I think mocking them is appropriate or even warranted...the only "bad" thing about stuff like this is that deep down these are supposed to be rebels and yet they've completely failed to realize the "revolution" they're a part of is entirely fabricated and is about as corporate, conformist and soulless as it gets. You're gorging on lies.

I just found out about cybergoths recently, and I fell in love with this aesthetic. I mean, since I was a teen I always loved both the cyberpunk and the gothic aesthetic, but I didn't know a mix between them actually existed when one day I started writing the story about a character I created and I was looking for some references for her outfit (something indeed cyber + goth) and I found this, my mind blown up!

Erstmal auf´s Wesentliche reduziert: Ich finde es wahnsinnig toll dass diese "TanzSzene" mit diesen und anderen Projekten weiterhin auf eine gewisse Weise am Leben gehalten wird. Schön diese Gemeinschaft zu sehen. Zum Video an sich: Ich habe mitbekommen unter welchen spontanen Umständen es wieder entstanden ist und deshalb hat mein bereits angeführter Punkt noch mehr Gewicht :) Empfand es beim ersten Schauen wirklich Schade, dass der Edit etwas "runter gebrochen" wirkt, habe dann aber nochmal das Info-Tab gelesen, was es mir schlüssiger macht. Ich bin gespannt was nächstes Jahr daraus wird.

Erstmal Danke schön für deinen Kommentar. Und ja du hast recht, ich hätte auch gerne mehr Videomaterial und mehr Zeit zum editieren gehabt. Zu dem Job bin ich am Amphi Sonntag ganz spontan gekommen, weil ich die beste Kamera dabei hatte. Eigentlich war ich nur für die moralische Unterstützung da. Aber ich wollte die 30 Leute dann auch nicht umsonst da sein lassen, zumal unsere Szene neue Tänzer und Aktionen gut gebrauchen kann. Leider hatte ich dann von den Gruppen jeweils nur eine Einstellung zu einem Lied, wenn da Leute bzw insbesondere Kinder im Hintergrund waren, musste ich gezwungener maßen cutten. Nächstes Jahr macht das Anoxia und ich freu mich schon drauf. Weil es gut organisiert wird und ich einfach ein bisschen supporten kann. :)

Und...ich bin halt kurz vor Platz. ^^ Mera Luna wird die letzte größere Aktion dieses Jahr. Frau weiß halt nicht wann das Kind kommt, etwas Zeit habe ich zwar noch ...Aber aufhalten würde man die Geburt jetzt auch nicht mehr. Ich fand es nur super schade, dass letztes Jahr sehr aufwendig gefilmt wurde, das Video aber in der mottenkiste verschwunden ist und nie fertig gemacht wurde.
