On January 21, 2025, the MIT Shaping the Future of Work Initiative brought together policymakers, practitioners and scholars to explore how we can align innovation and equity in the digital economy.
The first panel of the afternoon focused on industrial relations in the age of AI, including: What are the main challenges and opportunities for workers at this technological crossroad? How can companies implement pro-worker AI? Which sectors and occupations will be most disrupted? What is the role of organized labor?
