What you say reminds me of the time when no one thought much of Heath Ledger whereas Daniel Day Lewis, one of the greatest screen actors of all time, spoke out and talked about him like he was a gift from God long before he did The Dark Knight while everyone saw him comically in teen roles and a serious actor only when he did "Brokeback Mountain", before anyone else recognized what he was capable of in "The Dark Knight". Brett Ratner in Rush Hour and X-Men, Edward Norton, showrunners of Lost and Sopranos... they all publicly spoke out, saying Leung blew them out of the water and consider him one of the greatest actors of his generation skillwise, with an intense screen charisma and movie star presence. Norton said he stole the scene in the movie with his one cameo. So a show where he has a main role... oh boy. Just imagine him as a leading man. He could single handedly restore Hollywood to its FULL glory.

Eric is no philanthropist, why doesn't he fire Harper? He knows he could give Harper things she never asked (extra raise), make her feel special and use "You would not be here if it weren't for me" line to make her his puppet and to be on his side since Daria and the other lady want him gone. He is using her as much as Harper is using him.

All the managers manipulated or controlled for their own agenda. Daria got a secret confession from Harper to get Eric fired and his job and later barely talked to Harper. Harper confessed to her, she got sexually assaulted by a client and Daria didn't care. Also Daris told Robert he was worthless.

The differences in how Daria and Eric see the business and what is important to success is interesting to watch.

Harper betrayed Eric badly. Daria or Sara wouldn't have even interviewed Harper from her 'non target' (not a prestigious university) background. Not to mention the fake qualification Eric ignored.

He locked Harper in that room, closed the shades and proceeded to shout at her to solved his mess up. She had a history of panic attacks which he didn't know but that's not his business. Instead of reporting him she told Daria who used her to take over Eric's job. Harper got her revenge after Daria wanted her to return half the 50k commission.

"I know a guy high up at Fox". Funny as this actor was in a major Fox/Marvel Comics movie as "Kid Omega". He also beat up "Uncle Junior" on the Sopranos and was a time traveling Other on Lost. Great actor.

They clipped Eric so hard in season 2. He was the best part of the show in the first season.
