To answer your question about where it's at, the big GBB event is held in Poland, but honestly beatboxers are all over the world, there just isn't a whole lot of quantity by comparison to other musicians so they kinda get overlooked hence what makes this community underground

(So you know, a lot of the times at the beginning of his routines he’s doing counters to the other artist round previous routine - D-Low is the absolute King of counters as he has so much in his arsenal and then some...) @@CliffBeatsOfficial Depends what your flavour is.. the current lack of battles is causing current beatboxers to produce highly polished 'showcase' pieces with the emphasis on musicality over technical flexing. Anything from 'Show-Go' is great, 'Gene' just produced a beautiful track called Metamorphosis (which is his wildcard entry piece for the upcoming GBB2021 competition), but for the all-round package of technique, crazy sounds, and fantastic tune structure (or if you want beast mode he is an unbeatable battler), you can't go wrong with anything by D-Low. He's the Jordan of beatbox, any of his back catalogue, or indeed his recent SBX Kickback Battle competition will not disappoint 👍♨️

Thank you for these reactions! While I like these spotlight videos, it's too bad you are missing each of the actual battles. These battles are awesome to see and get the whole context. For example, right after he said the competitor's appearance, when he starts out of the gate with the crazy speed, he did that because the other guy was doing that at the end of his round and he was showing he could do all that fat technical stuff, but that he preferred to do what he though sounded better and what he enjoyed.
