What an amazing achievement. Everyone involved should be extremely proud of the role they have played in this monumental groundbreaking solution. I get very cynical seeing public projects blow out in cost, time and general political BS pandering to noise and minority special interest groups. This is a throwback good old Australian "can do" attitude creating jobs, wealth and engineering skills.

As an American, this is an Unimaginable project! Thinking 20 years ahead, we can barely the 20 days ahead! Good job people 🎉

I was only partly interested to watch this from the beginning, thinking it's somewhere in Europe again ?? It's surprise to see something of this scale actually happening in Australia 👍👍

The size of the iron ore operations from all the miners in the Pilbara and their port operations is mind boggling.

I was standing on the helideck of a vessel doing a mob at ash Burton only a couple of weeks ago , looking down thinking what the hell are those pug looking vessels 😂 now I know. Unreal ingenuity. Well done 🎉

With all that cheap, dirt cheap, iron ore, Australia should be manufacturing steel for export.

More BS that there couldn't be a channel dug right to dockside. In any case this is an excelent engineering solution.

What do you mean by "owned by china"? The country of China? Are the barges not bought and owned by Minres?
@x_Dude14 ай бұрын
@@ubermons Company itself is owned by _> google his name (Mr Ellison said China’s ban on importing Australian coal) + also keep in mind. China now buys more than 80 per cent of Australia's iron ore exports. Australia has the largest known iron ore reserves in the world, with almost all of them concentrated in the Pilbara. Australia produces half of the world's iron ore exports.19 sep 2023
