I saw a discussion about axle wear on this hub and sprang for the Pinner titanium axle. Is replacing the axle difficult? Thanks so much for putting this video together, great info.

Interesting, I haven’t heard of that. The only issue I’ve noticed is the none drive bearing keeps going. I’ll have to check my axle to see if that’s the case. But to answer your question, it should not be an issue changing axles. Just keep in mind that if you hammer out your old bearings you will need new ones and a you will need a bearing press

Can i use park tools PPL grease on the pawls? That's all i have currently. I want it to be quiet.

You can probably get away with a very light coat of the grease. Too much and the pawls might not engage properly. If you want it quieter go with a hub specific grease which will not be as thick.

That’s a really good question! I happen to have both hubs and I’ll tell you that the rapid drive 108t bontrager is a bit louder and in my opinion a way better hub then the 1/1.
