They don’t care about sports, it is useless for them. Indian government want to capitalize on everything and sports have no return money policy. State government and Central government can invest in infrastructure for sports but this will not generate any tax for them. They have clear cut policies about athletes, first prove your worth to us. First win a medal at Olympic, then you will get help from the government but to get a medal you need help from the government. This is a vicious deadlock in Indian sports. Mentality of Indians also the culprit, parents generally think only cricket and Bollywood can give better stability apart from Medicine, Engineering and MBA. Indian parents have to realize sports is also like representing your nation on international podiums. Sadly, We are not ready to accept the reality. Till then India can only achieve international recognition through Bollywood, IT, medicine and Cricket.

Only during Olympics media realize that we have athletes in shooting, boxing or wrestling and they hype it so big that athlete perform under immense pressure. But main culprit is government. They don’t care about sports, it is useless for them. Indian government want to capitalize on everything and sports have no return money policy. State government and Central government can invest in infrastructure for sports but this will not generate any tax for them. They have clear cut policies about athletes, first prove your worth to us. First win a medal at Olympic, then you will get help from the government but to get a medal you need help from the government. This is a vicious deadlock in Indian sports. Mentality of Indians also the culprit, parents generally think only cricket and Bollywood can give better stability apart from Medicine, Engineering and MBA. Indian parents have to realize sports is also like representing your nation on international podiums. Sadly, We are not ready to accept the reality. Till then India can only achieve international recognition through Bollywood, IT, medicine and Cricket.

Koi player nca mein pratice nhi karta....sirf foreign countries ghumna hai ...iyer , kl rahul dono 6 month se out of india tha...6 month baad bas 1-2 din pratice karoga aur opposition apna 100 percent de raha hai ....
