Solid season, confirmed pretty much most of the expectations.....Dixon is the overall best driver of the past 15 years, Rossi and Newgarden are the best drivers of the new generation, Robert was the most deserving rookie and should have won at least one race and there is some very interesting new talent coming on board. It's a fun and competitive racing series, what else can you ask for?

Monterey really isn't in the Bay Area. I suspect attendance there will be even worse than Sonoma after the first year. Having attended Indycar at Sonoma, I can say I definitely won't be driving down to Laguna.

There is a constantly revolving door in IndyCar. Sadly it comes down to $$$. Daly, Chaves, Hildebrand, Munoz, Vautier, Aleshin, Gutiérrez, Enerson, Hawksworth, Filippi... the list goes on. Next year you can add Ed Jones to the mix as well.

There's a lot of talent coming up. If you don't perform accordingly, you're out. Hildebrand, Aleshin and Hawksworth had their fair amount of chances, Chaves has not been impressive at all in 40 IndyCar races, Filippi did worse than Mike Conway, Gutiérrez did terribly compared to any Coyne driver in the last 3 years, Muñoz is straight trash on road courses (comparing to his oval performances)... If anything, Daly, Vautier and maybe Enerson are the ones on that list that should have a second chance. But, as I said, talent is coming from everywhere: there were a lot of talented rookies this year (Wickens, Veach, Harvey), there's two more coming from Lights next year, lots of good drivers interested from Europe...

agenthoini I can relate to that feeling :D I came to Indycar, because Montoya came back and I saw what he did in F1. He lost to Dixon tied on points in 2015. So Dixon has won 2 out of 4 that I watched. This year he didn’t have much competition for favorite driver at the front, because Rossi did a few questionable moves to another driver that came to Indycar and that I watched before in other categories. I watched Wickens racing in DTM in 2012. He lead his first race until Rossi drove into the back of him. So I wasn’t going to support Rossi.
