My 2 favorite drivers growing up were Helio and Dan when we lost Dan in 2011 at Las Vegas I was devastated and cried alot because I saw him win both Indy 500 in person and 2 times at Kansas Speedway and met him in 2006 at Indy but this race was the major healing process when Helio won and climbed the fence on Dan Wheldon way and dedicated the win to him

This race was kinda hard to watch emotionally but the new cars were pretty cool and it was touching to watch Helio win and dedicate it to Dan class act right there

I used to think racing is the answer to all of our problems, but then I saw racing invented new problems, real devastating problems, The sacrifice of Dan Weldon showed us why, he was the perfect balance between us and racing, he thought that that light needs a balance, racing can improve our lives but so can people, if we focus on one expense of the other that’s when the balance is lost, The racing world will find its way again this time with Dan Weldon as our compass

Last year was my first time at St. Pete GP, and I had a blast. Not sure on whether you plan on going for General Admission or Grandstand seating, but turn 1 is the grandstand to be in if that's what you are looking for.

I'm a Tampa native so I've been just about everywhere, including the aquarium :). 2016 was only my first year because I only started really keeping up with the series around Milwaukee 2015, that's if I remember correctly. As long as St. Pete is on the calendar, I plan on going. I gotta take a trip up to Barber one of these years though, that track is just stunning, even on television.

@Shark24 OMG I know right?? Barber is so cool, the flow of the corners and fun challenges drivers love (crests, blind corners, combining braking and turning). I envy you though, being a Tampa native, I'm really fond of that city (especially Ybor, once upon a time I was in a band that played the Masquerade a couple of times)...

Not just the track, the scenery surrounding the track, is the most beautiful of any North American track. And the museum is also a must see when I do find my way up there. Also, I stay out of Ybor. That place is sketch :p, or at least what surrounds Ybor is.
