I think he may have the diff lock on for some reason (maybe it didn't disengage on the downhill🤷‍♂️). If that was the case, then it's practically impossible to do a tight turn. Edit: Looks a bit overloaded, too.

Interesting - I see that a skidder is available so why not tow the Volvo . Also not sure if it is a 6x2 it 6x4 nevertheless 6x4 would be better in these situations . Also I do not see any European off road trucks with CTI ( Central Tyre Inflation) as it makes a huge difference in off road logging trucks.

Non. Ce camion n'a tout simplement pas de traction avant. C'était probablement trop difficile pour Volvo.

La realidad es la que se vee no siempre es la potencia del camion sino la pericia del conductor desde un comiezo empezó haciendo la maniobra equivocada y luego termino como se ve aca en ARGENTINA VOLVO FH 520 ES EL SEÑOR. Trabajamos en condiciones extremas y el volvo siempre sale a flote sin ayuda de tractor alguno.

Here it is clear that the designers of this Volvo did not think or could not count. The rear of the truck is so overloaded that the front wheels are unable to turn. There would also be a suitable front-wheel drive.

It probably is a 6x4..difficult to tell. They wouldn;t necesarily chain up both drives..having said that, 6x2 is the preferred option on Europe
