I'd love to buy this car but unfortunately due to the dutch tax system (BPM tax based on emissions) this car is very very expensive. Base price is € 68.000 (incl VAT) without this BPM tax but with it, the price is € 170.000 in The Netherlands! Bit steep for a hobby car. Business wise it's not very suitable since only the 2-seater version qualifies. (which you can then have without VAT and BPM, makes it € 56.735!) Looking at a used G-class now.

What an absolutely excellent hand over idea for a brand launch; in an environment that exemplifies the design intention. Nice work folks. This really lets the world know just how serious you are about your target audience in a very cool way. It’s great to see a vehicle creation from start to finish, especially being that the Grenadier was not limited to upgrading a model or staying within a model line up theme. This was a true ground up design intention effectively employing the user market in an open and directly contributing feedback loop through the advancement stages. To culminate the whole effort in an expedition type engagement for some of the first early faithful adopters is a brilliant marketing move. Simply cannot WAIT for mine to arrive here in the USA!!! 🇺🇸😎🇺🇸
