I have ran this game with friends without prep. It was a one shot set in the invasion of portuguese folk in Brazil, and the fallen were creatures from brazilian folklore. The boss of the one shot was the Boitata. Pretty good game for one shots

As a brazilian, I'm very happy to see brazilian games being published abroad. =) In portuguese there is a text only version of the game, so I believe there will be one in english as well.

I’m jazzed for this already! I’ve always heard of solo games, but was never drawn to them for their lack of tactile mechanics. I also want to harvest it for play future games as I’ve been shifting away from a wholly gm run game play style. If you have 3-6 brains why only use one for fiat?

Yep, "Inferno" is that game. I think it could work really well for tables that want to really jump into that setting right away rather than get potentially bogged down by extensive game mechanics.

I like your idea of setting the game on a massive space ship but then again, the Dark Ages was pretty messed up. One might even consider that Revelations happened then already.

Well Revelations is believed to have been written in Late Antiquity, so you Christianity fighting native religions to the death after the persecutions and martyrdoms, you had Rome splitting in half and having a million civil wars and major assassinations, the Huns and many other nomads, Germanic and Slav tribe invasions, immense wars with Persia, the rise of Islam, plagues on the level of the Black Death except multiple of them on repeat. One of the apocalypses is believed to directly reference Emperor Nero
