Infamous I-277 exit in Charlotte gets reimagined in video game

A notorious highway exit that's long frustrated Charlotte drivers has inspired a new video game that's gaining attention on social media.
Local developer Michael Ramirez created an arcade-style game based on Exit 3A of Interstate 277, where drivers must navigate a complex merge as cars cross multiple lanes heading to either NoDa or uptown Charlotte.
"It's a loop nightmare game you can play," Ramirez said at his desk while demonstrating the game. "Obviously it's a silly game. It's poking fun at it."
