If you want to get it decently high without even doing anything weird/gamey, you can start as Ming and then release and play as Shun. They have +15% in their ideas, so then you can get another 35% from ideas and policies, another 10% from the Boost Officer Corps decree, and another 10% from harmonizing Shinto, for a total of +70%. This is also possible as Japan, it just involves switching to Confucianism.

i found a quiet niche way to raise it even further while doing the "tripple rome" achievment: if you form russia by embracing novgorodian culture, you can get tier 5 government reform "Boyars Military Sevice". This unlocks two nobility priviliges: 1. boyars Landed Army -10 % cav cost +25% cavToInf Ratio and (scaling with estate influence) up to 20% cav combat ability. The other privilige is Boyars - Rynda Infantry (scaling with estate loyalty) "while your ruler is a general, up to +15% inf combat ability, otherwise (if ruler isnt general) up to -20% inf cost. So far, i am only novgorodian culture, but still sweden. If this gov reform isnt locked by forming russia, you are able to add another -15% (at 100 nobility loyalty) to the total

i have progressed further in my campaign, formed russia, did most of its mission tree, conquered 90% of china , took celestial empire and am planning to invade japan for shinto: +65% inf combat ability is standard +15% (at 100% boyar loyalty AND ruler as general) +10% celestial army decree 10% once i harmonize shinto -->up to a total of +100% inf combat ability

1 new order regiments plus the ability button gives a total of 25 not 15. It doesnt upgrade the button it straight up gives another 15. 2 russian government isnt locked behind the imperial ambition mission. Its actually locked behind the proclaim the empire title that requires to be great power, humiliate rival and have 100 modernization. If you dont have russian tsardom tho because you are catholic for example you dont get modernization therefore imperial russian government only requires you to be a great power, humiliate rival, own 5 provinces in russia and be muscovite. You can get orthodox for the 10% ica on streltsy but i think that special units are not in the spirit of the run. I recently did gotland->hansa->denmark->prussia->engald->russia for ica stacking (i feel like i commented about it here, if so then im happy that it turned into this video) so i learned a lot about how to manipulate the russian government. In general domination was super clanky and there are exploits everywhere

I really like the new editing, although I dislike the fact that you speak quicker than usual. Also you aren't forced to cut all the uhhh's and well uhm's, I find it more human when you don't (obviously you can do it if it gets in the way of clarity, but you can still keep some)

The editing (in general and on the map) is really good though I preferred the old counter. Maybe instead of having the number slowly trickle up when it gets increased, have it go straight from 10 to 20 but have a "+10" on the side. Maybe change the background so it stands out more.

i like these vids but i dont quite understand them. are these vids just like using the console commands to switch to different nations and pick up their power ups to see how high they go or is all this actually possible in a legit campaign?

So the way I routed it, it is theoretically possible in Ironman as a campaign: since I excluded things that are well mutually exclusive, for example in this case the Pope can get an extra 10% ICA but you can't be Pope and do all the other things. The idea behind these is basically assuming infinite skill, what is the highest value you can push it theoretically. I have seen people who are quite good at the game do some of these in practice in legitimate conditions too, and for some of the easier modifier stacking runs well they are honestly quite doable, but as mentioned in the video all of these flips are hard for a normal game, hence the 'challenge' suggestion in the second part.

I am not against doing a 'save game review' but I am in all honesty... scared that I am too small of a creator and I don't get any real submissions. This guide is partially incorrect. The Empower the Polighars reform is an unnecessary and inefficient step. Instead you should remain Russian culture and take the Boyars Military Service reform. This will unlock a Boyars privilege which gives +15% Infantry Combat Ability as long as your ruler is a general. The +15% is equal to the combined +15% you get from Empower the Polighars and New Order Regiments reform. However you will be able to keep your ruler as a general for most of the game, while you will not be able to use the New Order Regiments government ability for significant periods of time.

I’ve actually seen a lot worse runs that are done in Ironman: a while back 215% disciple was achieved and that took around 20 tag switches in 10 ish years. Also I wish it was as easy as reading the wiki: go there and you will see it’s missing quite a few things.

@@LemonCake101 yes but you can't get the theoretical max unless you have already conquered everything you mentioned. I doubt you can do it even if you have everything conquered because of how far the missions needed are down the mt. The temporary buffs will run out.

But saying it is impossible is denying people like LambdaX or Florry exist, and those people routinely do much more difficult things.
