Having a father that abandoned myself and my mom when I was 3, growing up and taking care of my infant sister and 3 yr old brother at 9 so my mom could work to make ends meet. In and out of several marriages( my mothers) dealing with fighting and screaming from step fathers, this song really makes me take a look at how hollow and joyless my adolescent years were. I now have a 3 yr old son, and will do anything and everything to make sure he doesnt have to go through anything like i did.

I have that same story, a word to the wise though, if you are unhappy in the relationship... dont' stay. I did and apparently i did more harm than good according to my daughter. My mom was on her 4rth marriage by the time that I was 12. I didn't file for divorce until my daughter moved out to be with her boyfriend and she was in college. Now she is saying that I abandoned her...

It sounds like she's a fan of Maria Brink, judging by her screaming technique. She can hold notes, she can change pitch in mid scream, and the way she can revert back to clean vocals indicates she's had lots of practise. She's good, no doubt about that.

I only found out about Infected rain about ten minutes ago, and I too was looking into Lena Scissorhands and Tatiana. Everyones giving this band trash for exsisting tho. We're not comparing them to Jinjer people. Have decency. They're totally different bands and songs. Who else is going to come up with a song like this? Not to mention preform it so nicely. Everyone has opinions- but it's not easy to be doing this kinda thing for a living, and they've got wonderful music.
