Dr Campbell--I am a RN in the USA. An interesting fact : A Nursing supervisor came to our floor two days ago and said her job for the day was to go around the hospital and find every room which could hold a pt bed. I did not have to wonder why. I have been telling my coworkers to watch your videos. They are wonderfully informative! I have learned so much from you.The facts about the Covid-19 are clear and concise (no nonsense or BS). I agree that this should be called a pandemic very soon. After following you for a month, I watched the briefing from Dr. Aylward last night. I thought there was a whole lot of information people were not listening to. 1. Countries need to get seperate hospital facilities ready with 1000s of beds, ventilators, and sufficient PPE for the staff to work them. 2. Screening needs to be performed away from the traditional hospitals to prevent infections in hospitals. 3. Full mobilization of all national assets/ resources need to be planned so material support can be provided to hard hit areas. 4. We need to make sure we are not stuck in Flu think or SARS, or EBOLA think. This is a different thing and we to be looking for innovative ways to handle it. 5. We must utilize technology to the fullest extent possible to assist with this process. 6. This is going to go everywhere and if we do not prepare and get ahead of it, waiting for a vaccine is going to be brutal on vulnerable populations. So basically everything you have been telling us all along has been confirmed.

It's not that simple! The body can be very powerful to fight a new virus that he has never encountered, and be much lazier to get rid of a typical seasonal flu. Nobody knows how your body would react. If a doctor tells you otherwise, he would talk from a statistic point of view. But you are not a statistic, or a number. A young healthy man can have more issues than you, even if he would be on the good sides of the statistics!!! Nobody can know. But one thing is sure : Think and believe you would be all right and you will be! The mindset is what matters most!

While in ICU, her right hand (where she had a pic line) was swollen, painful and red and hot. Dr. comes in says no worries. I be concerned if it was cold. Ok, FF to Surgeon who everyone bowed to in hospital, the pic line started leaking, and he said, no worries. I asked, if stuff can get out, could bacteria or stuff get in? He said Yes and walked out. Later that night a male nurse got permission to remove pic line and he sent it off for testing, came back infection AND blood clot. (she was off anti coags because of cancer and bleeding and surgery). She passed on March 16 2016 St Pats day. Her way of telling me nothing more I could have done. I miss her dearly, she was 71. And full of life. She suffered for 2.5 years in our veterinarian Canadian hospital.
