idk, i prefer sub just because anime has that tendency to have kinda corny dialogue and reading it makes it more bearable than actually listening to it. definitely wouldn't say the english dub for bleach is bad though, i know tons of the VAs are great.

Because they made it less like an arena fighter and more like a soul calibur. Arena fighters can feel not so very fast pace since they enable you to run around the arena too much and they make the arena too big.

@@tenkuken7168 I think the "now or never" thing will blast your opponent far away but the now or never thing will let you close the gap immediately this is also why senbon sakura don't go as long range. And they limited long range attacks you can use like Byakuya's kido.

There’s mad mechanics. Tons of stuff in this trailer they didn’t show clearly or explain. Stg there’s like 8 gauges. I think parries are going to be important because the guard gauge might not regenerate. In the trailer Ichigo is fighting with his guard meter disappeared. Honestly this might not even be considered an arena fighter. Sure it might not have low, mid and high attacks but the movement looks way more like a fighting game you can see them side stepping. And fighting games got auto combos now too look at dbfz and kof.

i'm glad this isn't just another copy-paste arena fighter like every other anime game, seems they're leaning more into the traditional 2.5D fighter style. visuals are pretty great, i like how they're using the later artstyle for the characters instead of the earlier one.

So this is what I learn about this game(thanks to aba I understand how this mechanism works) So we got lives or as they called it reishi idk I'm going with aba aspect We got like 4 lives but in the game it's 9 so whenever we defeat an opponent or we get defeated 3 of our lives get taken so we have 6 lives now instead of 9 and same with the opponent and we keep fighting until that number turn to 0 The top left corner is our awakening bar we fill it up by damaging opponent or by getting damaged. The bottom left and right corners bars are like reiatsu when we charge? We can use moves we got the ex feature charge if we activate we can counter or do some cool stuff with it I don't understand that well But that's all the knowledge I can input from it. Its not bad tbh that's good.

Lives lost is based on how you finish off an opponent, whether is with an ult, special, combo string, grab, etc, better finisher will cause them to lose more bars, a couple of older arcade fighters had that.

You explained it backwards. The EX bar at the bottom is your spiritual power, the stocks are your Konpaki and your health bar is the Reishi. Taking down your opponent with just a basic combo not utilizing a special or an ultimate will take two Konpaku (stocks) and using a special would take 3 instead. Then if you awaken, killing with a basic combo takes 3 stocks instead of the 2 in base and if you end with a special/ult it takes 4.
