​MOST roblox anime game Dev just make the game for money so it either Cash Grab or P2W if they dont get money they will not update it often which dunno why they just do that because good playerbase require good size update to attract attention for player to buy their gamepasses but nope dev just leave game for whole 2-5 months with no update then sudden update that either meh too small or suck ass giving them no new player for their money leading them to quit working on the game like cmon it shouldnt be THAT hard to add new boss that have already existing ability ingame with already existing AI that you can put on with some modify for it to fit with the ability or a new item that have nothing new other than better stats

Honestly, having played Roblox since it's fetus stages, anime games were an amazing experience. To playing games where you load in, pick a character, and beat people's asses, to games where you level up and watch yourself develop. We've had goats like Project Jojo, Shinobi Life 1, Primera, and many other games die. And as thing continue, the community feels more saturated. You don't feel actual love and care put into games anymore, and as months and years pass, it seems like developers are becoming less creative; close minded, retarded. We can't even have a game anymore without every good decision following 10 other bad decisions at least. It's almost like there's a Heaven and Earth divide between the players that play games, and then the developers that make them. FOR A HUGE EXAMPLE, Months ago, an anime game (I forgot the name) came out. There was a Gacha System to roll moves, had a basic bandit beater formula, and the only content thereafter you got max was ranked matches. (Red Flag) After KZbinrs covered the game and it's content, it died. I think the problem with developers NOW is that they look at other games( not wrong with that) , and then follow the formula of those games. Which leads to the same repetitive, annoying, extraneous cycle of playing a game for the bare minimum. That, or Devs will have the nerve to make playing their game to be the equivalent of a job, barring things behind ridiculous obtainment methods, or drop rates, while also having the community of mostly children, be able to purchase Robux Products to try and take a spin at obtaining those things I've mentioned. I'm not saying I hate bandit beaters at all, I like a good and fun grind, only if I know that if it's worth it in the end. Developers have to TRY and open their mind, attempt at good game design, and give niggas something to do. That's why neckbeards play Gacha Games, because there's always something to do and aspire for. Or how people enjoy playing JRPG's and grinding to become ridiculously powerful. It's sad to see games with genuine potential, and nice police on graphics, be poisoned by the same month to month slop that developers shit out. Or maybe I'm just being nostalgic, who knows.

I really dont think the rates were an accident, it makes a lot more sense that they kept the rates at 10% on purpose to make people think they had a better chance of getting a legendary shikai / volt / res since you see all the legendary weapons around and think you have a good chance and then when it got leaked and they got called out they just said it was an accident to damage control.

Jusf once I'd love to see a high quality anime roblox game. Not a simulater, not a tower defense, not an arena fighter, not a hardcore game, not a bandit beater, but a game that actually has *substance* . Like a story game, or even a horror anime game, based off of like JJK or Chainsaw man. Something truly unique! We don't want another deepwoken-like anime game. We don't want another YBA, or GPO, or Blox fruits, something that isn't a chore to play. I personally don't want another derivative pvp game, where you have to grind for hours to get the best blah blah whatever, i personally want a single player game, or an open world exploration game. Project Star was *so close* to being my ideal JoJo game. But typical dev greed ruined it. Imagine a One Piece game where beating 15 Marine Captains was an *optional* quest, not required for progression. Instead, exploration was key. Hell, imagine a SURVIVAL anime game, like Ooga Booga but One Piece or Toyko Ghoul. No gacha, no spinning, no fuckin bloodlines or 0.1 logia spawn rate, but a straight up exploration, base-building survival One Piece game. That would be insane to see. Bottom line is, we just want something *new* and *unique*

ion know if you played it but Arcane adventures was this game from like 2016-2018 thats pretty much what you descrivbed. they tried to remake it with world of magic and arcane oddesy but were never able to. its pretty much a exploration based gpo-ish game but it was very non linear and you could progress how ever you wanted BUT if you did want to just grind mindlessley to get the best shit you can still do that

Like how would a horror CSM game work? How would a survival One Piece game work? Are you just building bases? Are you obtaining fruits to get powers? Like what exactly is the goal here? And you're damn right it'd be insane because you'd have to BE insane to even begin developing something like that on Roblox of all platforms. New and Unique doesn't always equal *good*. You get too ambitious with the game you want to make and it can flop even harder than something low effort like Blox Fruits. I agree with your point on no gacha or spinning or absurd rates for whatever the hell might be added to one of these games. But the best we as a community can hope for is a game that has developers that actually give a shit. There are genuinely good concepts that get ruined by devs. if Deepwoken had devs that gave a damn and maybe even got rid of the wipe aspect of it. The game could be seen as good or maybe even great. That goes for all Roblox games like it too both Anime and not Anime. But the chances of even that happening are slim. If you think about it, it's pretty simple. The rates for a legendary weapon being a 10% while saying 1% gives the illusion that getting a legendary shikai is just as easy, however it is actually 10x harder. Therefore, people spend more money on the game thinking they have a chance that is 10x better than they actually do because they are made to believe shikais and weapons have the same legendary chances.

And the worst part about it is, if ANY other rates were broken it would’ve been painfully obvious but no the legendary WEAPONS (the worst legendary thing in the game to get id rather get a legendary shikai/clan/gear) like they definetly knew what they were doing, they made the least worth it legendary a 10% so people thought it was somewhat possible. Again if volt/res rates were bugged it would’ve made people ACTUALLY get there money’s worth but nope it’s the most worthless thing to gain from a 1%.

Aight. I think we all just gotta move on from this stupid game, it's ofc not changing for the better. The "team" won't change. And that's the same with many other games, devs and owners are creating really bad products for the amount of money / fame they're getting. And I think TYPE:SOUL is a symbol for many to what anime games are slowly becoming: Repetitive, stupid, dead. NGL we had a few good ones, like Project Slayers, Anime Adventures, PM. We are getting good games, but they're rare and less "covered" than games like TYPE:SOUL sometimes, maybe due to how much drama they create and the attention gained from that. And yes, as many people have said, they do copy other games. Which isn't bad, but copying from the smallest detail has genuinely gotten on my nerves too.
