Man it's crazy to see how far you've come Malcolm (not to discredit Mike at all). I used to play shows with you down in Lufkin a few times when you were in Diskreet. You may actually know my old drummer if you did the Enfold tour with Pestilence and Vital Remains. He was playing drums for Vital for a few years. Eddy Hoffman is his name. Anyway, always been a huge fan of your guitar playing. Always looking forward to whatever you do next. You've given a lot to the metal community man, much appreciated. 🤘

Malcom, I just wanted to say personally thank your for all of you hard work. Inferi has become my favorite band and that's saying alot because I'm very particular about bands and music that are important to me, I listen to and enjoy tons of extreme metal of several subgenres and have for the past 20 years and very rarely if ever have I been impacted like with Inferi. I was a massive TBDM fan (and still am) and as far as American Melodeath I figured along with The Absence they were pretty much the best at what they did imo, but then I happened upon Inferi and it changed my whole life, like for years I've been listening to Tech Death religiously ala Necrophagist, Spawn of Possession, Obscura and ect and I'm a guitar player myself and I I've always wanted to write something epic and get into music and what I naturally gravitated toward as a player was Melodeath, love everything about the genre, but what you've done with Inferi is literally exactly what I would've wanted to portray musically myself and that makes your music that much more personal to me, every section of every song as a guitar player I'm just like "God damn, I fucking feel that." I'm not even in the same realm in terms of ability and never will be but I don't need to be because I can just listen to Inferi. Lastly you're music has had a major emotional impact on me, it's helping me through some really rough shit, I can't even listen to the clean break and buildup with the Latin lyrics in Destroyer without getting emotional, and then when the guitars come in first count normal and then second count harmonized just forget about it I'm practically inconsolable at that point but it's an empowering kind of emotional. Hopefully you see this like I said just wanted personally to say thanks man and same to all the guys, don't have social media so yeah I couldn't have reached out there so this was my only option at expressing my gratitude.

@@KyleKonicek Hey, Kyle! Wow! Thank you for all the kind words. It really means a lot to me that we've made such a positive impact on you. It is the best I could hope for as a metal musician and I'm truly honored! All the bands you mentioned played a huge role in my life as well. They are all great and inspired me to keep going. Hopefully, we'll continue to bring joy to your listening experience and keep you coming back for more! Cheers, bud! \m/

Been following Malcolm since A Loathing Requiem and Diskreet and have been a huge fan of Inferi since day 1. Disturbingly under-appreciated musicianship. The melodic section beginning around 1:45 makes me feel some kind of way, can't describe it. Keep it up gents, I adore your style and sound. One of the best out there right now!
